Devotees paying obeisance at the Golden Temple would soon be able to listen to the hymns and kirtan through an ultra-modern sound system to be installed at the holy shrine at a cost of Rs 1 crore soon. She expressed her gratitude to the Sikh sangat in England, which generously donated the amount for the setting up of the system. Lucky Dhillon, who was awarded with the British Media Award for her achievements as a presenter, runs Amrit Vela Radio, which airs religious programmes related to the Sikh religion and Sikh heritage. Speaking on the occasion, Makkar thanked the Sikh sangat residing in the UK for their generosity. He also honoured Lucky Dhillon with a siropa. | May the GOD ALMIGHTY allow me to humbly submit that reading this gives great satisfaction since by the GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY during last visit to this holy shrine Ihad suggested in writing that state of the art system be installed since the GURUBANI KEERTAN was one the most significant gifts / There is possibly no shrine inthe world where cotinously keertan is done May GOD BLESS Lucky Dhillon and all the sangat who has helped this effort Iam possibly too incompetent to contribute in any other manner . One more suggestion is that for foriegn tourists and visitors at the entrance an audio visual pre recorded programme be screened on a continous basis so as to help spread the teachings of the GURUS as well the important role this religion can play in the modern world . MAY GURU RAMDAS JI BLESS ALL . |
