Mian Mirs descendant calls on Badal |

 Sain Makhdoom Syed Chan Pir Qadri, the 19th descendant of Sain Hazrat Mian Mir Ji who laid the foundation stone of Sri Harmandar Sahib, today called on Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal at his residence to show him glimpse (darshan) of the belongings of Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji, including Guru ji's Simrana (mala) and necklace of Mata Ganga ji.
In an interaction with the Chief Minister, Syed Chan Pir Qadri urged Badal to take up opening of a visa office at Amritsar with the Centre and get declared area of I km radius within the Harmandar Sahib 'holy zone'. The Chief Minister gave an assurance in this regard.
