Welcome to a new look Punjab Heritage News. Over the past month we have had a facelift to the site that will make the overall experience a far richer one for our readers and researchers who visit the site. This was successfully followed up with the ‘Sikh Arts and Heritage’ lecture series hosted at the V&A. In 2003, the series went regional with 28 events at four UK venues.   I wrote this book in 1994 and wish to reprint a revised edition soon. The first book is out of print and since very little history of Canadian Sikhs has been written since there is still great demand from the younger generations for knowledge of our pioneers. To get to my website: google -Canada's Digital Collection. Click on the first entry. Click English. Click - Continue to the document. Scroll down to Becoming Canadian: Pioneer Sikhs in Their Own Words. Click on Sections. Each Section 1-7 reads as a chapter of my book.
Check out my website. This is only a sample of the 200 photos and many historical documents I have collected and wish to share in my new book. I have 40 taped interviews with Canadian Sikh Pioneers which will be part of the new book/project.
