Foreign scholars visit PAU |

A team of 16 scholars representing different countries including USA, Canada and U.K led by Dr Gurinder Singh Mann of University of California, Santa Barbara, visited PAU on Tuesday. The team had a round of the museum of rural life of Punjab and Dr Mohinder Singh Randhawa library on the PAU campus.
The visitors were taken around to various displays in the museum as well as in the Dr Randhawa section of the library.
They also viewed the picturesque soil and water resources of northern India depicted besides the Library. The team leader, Mann said that the visit was organized to apprise the younger generation about the richness of Punjabi culture, heritage and living style. Six members of the team were those Indians who took birth on the foreign lands, he said. The team members expressed their appreciation the way PAU has endeavoured to preserve these things of cultural significance on its campus.
