On March 14, 1998, I took my grandchildren to Fatehgarh Sahib. A glimpse of the Gurdwara gave me immense pleasure. When we went to see the "Shahidi wall", it was not there. On the door was hanging a plate which read as follows: The wall has been removed and in its place Guru Granth Sahib has been installed. I felt very much pained. The martyr's wall had been removed. This wall remained there from 1704 to 1997. In November 1997, Shri L.K. Advani had broken down on seeing the wall and had remarked that Wazir Khan had committed atrocities on innocent children. My ten year old grandson was with me. He asked, 'Where is the wall in which the Sahibzadas were bricked alive'' Not only my grandson but countless grandsons and granddaughters will ask this question. How will the coming generation know that the original monument relating to the Sahibzadas martyrdom was destroyed not by our enemies but by our own people. In Delhi, the hall where Guru Tegh Bahadur was martyred, has not been touched. In Gurdwara Rakabganj, Gurdwara Bala Sahib, Gurdwara Mata Sundari ji - all burial places are intact, though the halls have been extended. There are hundreds of such examples. The why was it done at Fatehgarh Sahib' Will anybody ask Jathedar Tohra and let me and my grandson have the answer' Narinder Kaur | ||||||||||

| I truly share the pain with you. I went also in 1998 to Fatehghar Sahib and asked the same questions...Where is the wall gone...what has happened to the bricks...where are they. My heart was totaly shatered...The cold house or the thanda burj where is it...It as well has been knocked down and on its place a gurdwara was built. Sikh leaders are crimnals who have no regard for history. There is no excuess for such an act of destruction...The kar sewa groups are all idots...They don't have any knowledge of what they are doing to the SIKH sacred places and there antiquties. There is no watch group who has knowledge to protect our heritage. We have blind leaders like Parkash singh Badal. Badal has to be worst creature in mankind..he is like a termite...he distroys anything in its path. we need to save and catalog every historical Gurudawara and all the historical antique pieces which belong to our Sikh History. There should be penalties set to persons who have a hand in the act of destruction. please take action before all is lost |

| I am very shocked and feel ashamed of the leaders and sevadars do did this. Such historic monuments and bulding need to be perserved so that tomorrow when are children question us to show the evidence of the existence of the history we can show them the true images but politics and evil hands have to interefere for their illogical stance!! They must be questioned and punished.. |

| Who did remove the wall and why did they do it has any body any idea .What was reason behind it ?? |
