Sikh organisations plea to Pak govt on gurdwara kar seva PDF Print E-mail

Kartarpur Sahib before recent renovationsKartarpur (Ravi) Darshan Abhilakhi Sansthan, a local Sikh organisation, has urged the Pakistan government to grant permission to Baba Sewa Singh Kar Sevawale, to perform kar seva at gurdwara Kartarpur (Ravi) Sahib situated along the Indo Pak border in Narowal district of Pakistan.

Talking to reporters here today the organisation chief and former MLA Kuldip Singh Wadala said that he had submitted a memorandum in this regard to the Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz during his visit to Pakistan last month.

He said that Babaji wanted to conduct kar seva for construction of Langar Hall, Sarai (rest houses), Deewan Hall at the Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara.

Mr Wadala also reiterated the demand of free corridor for Indian Sikh pilgirms to undertake pilgrim to the Kartarpur Sahib.

Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara is an important Sikh shrine where Guru Nanak Dev had stayed for 18 long years.
